Special Guest: International Bowhunter, Del Delmastro
International Bowhunter, Del Delmastro will be featuring a special seminar on Saturday 5/18 at 11:15am covering "Bow Hunting Dangerous Game".
"Del" started bow hunting in the northeast section of CT in the 1960's with a re-curve bow at the age of 15. He hunted mostly small game. In the early 1970's Del switched over to a compound bow and started hunting deer, despite small population of whitetails. He hunted in the hills of Litchfield County, CT. It was in the Mid 1980's Del started traveling around the States on archery hunts for big game. In the early 1990's he started to receive offers from archery equipment companies for sponsorships, thus starting the wild ride!
With Del currently having about 30 sponsors, he is well known on the East Coast. He frequently does appearances at Cabela's in East Hartford, CT. You can also see Del at his annual appearances and seminars at the Hartford, CT Hunting and Fishing Show and Springfield, MA Sportsman Show. Fell free to stop by Del's booth and say hello, talk bow hunting and see if you can join him on an international hunt.
Del lives in Oxford, CT with his wife Judi. He is also a Senior member of the Pope and Young Club, and a co-designer of the Signature Series Broad Head, made by Radical Archery of Vancouver, WA - which has been named the "DelMastro" 100.
A few of Del's bow hunts have been seen on the Outdoor Channel as well as the Sportsman Channel.
